After previous work for hunidew's Bowen and Zoe on recording sessions and demo sessions, I was brought in from Summer 2024 as permenant session drummer for their band when they formed as hunidew alongside bassist Aaron Dallat.
I played drums for Issie Goffman ('issie') up to January 2025, alongside bassist Aaron Dallat, and other session musicians on guitars, keyboards and more.
Issie writes soul/jazz-infused pop songs, which we as a band, led by Issie, turn into more energetic arrangements faithful to her influences both 1960s and present day.
Rob Clewer & Milhouse
From September 2022, I was the drummer with Rob Clewer and his band - rehearsing regularly at studios in Manchester and Salford. The music we played was a range of Rob's original songs, with various arrangements. Some songs were acoustic, or had brushes/rods, and some were heavier in style, comparable to traditional rock music.
On 19th November 2022, I played with Rob in a 5-piece band at The Snug, Atherton, supporting the acclaimed Liverpudlian songwriter Steve Pilgrim. We played a 40 minute set from 8pm.
In Summer 2023, myself, Rob and the band got together to put together a new set, preparing for headline gigs in the North of England. We have since renamed to Milhouse and become a full-fledged touring and recording band.
